MBBR Bio Media

MBBR Bio Media er en forbedret versjon av fast membranbioreaktor, lik SAFF (Surface Area Fixed Membrant Technology (SAFF) eller roterende bioreaktor (RBC), bortsett fra at MBBR -transportøren med middels floats fritt i avløp/avløp. MBBR bio media reactor consists of a storage tank filled with immersed plastic (usually HDPE, polyethylene or polypropylene) medium with a specific gravity less than 1.0. The large surface area of plastic provides sufficient surface for the growth of bacteria. Biomass grows on the surface in the form of a thin film, and its thickness is usually between 50-300 microns. Each individual biological carrier increases productivity by providing a protected surface area to support the growth of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria within its cells. It is this high-density bacterial population that achieves high-speed biodegradation in the system, while also providing process reliability and ease of operation. The medium or coarse bubble diffuser placed uniformly at the bottom of the reactor maintains the dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration>2. 5-3 mg/l for å fjerne BOD. For nitrifisering opprettholdes fortsatt en høy oppløst oksygenkonsentrasjon. For å holde mediet strømme ut av tanken, er en sil installert på nedstrømsveggen.
